Sergeant Carmon Williams, Jr. (Retired) Obituary

Sergeant Carmon Williams Jr, son of the late Carmon Williams and Iris Williams was born on February 22, 1947 in Rich Square, North Carolina. He departed this life suddenly on May 29, 2020.

Carmon grew up in Ahoskie, North Carolina. After general studies he joined the military. Carmon was a war veteran who was assigned to the United states army where he earned several medals.  He fought Vietnam War and Desert Storm.  During and after his armed forces assignment he became a full time employee for the Federal government for 27 years.

He married the former Carol Ann Williams, and out of this union three children were born, Tina, Carmon III, and Donnie. He is also survived by three grand children Cory, Camren, and Kaitlyn.

Carmon made numerous friends wherever he went. He will always be remembered for his boisterous laugh and his many jokes. He will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him. He was always a true fried and a devoted family man.

He leaves to mourn: his brothers, Raymond Williams and Michael Williams; sisters, Mary Williams, Agnes Ellis, and Marva Jenkins; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
