Retired. Sr. Chief Petty Officer Shawn Bush Sr.,

Retired Senior Chief Petty Officer Shawn Bush Sr., 53, of Newport News, VA, died January 8, 2025, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.  Shawn Bush Sr. is survived by his mother, Carol Richardson, and three children:  Shawn Bush Jr., Gabrielle Rogers, and Riley Bush.

Shawn Bush Sr. served honorably in the U.S. Navy for 26 years before joining the civil service and becoming an instructor.  He was an alumnus of Warwick High School, graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and Master Mason.

Repass will be held 1400 after services at Beau Brummells Civic & Social Club (2623 Shell Rd, Hampton, VA 23661) in jovial spirits.
