Ms. Yakima Jabria Jordan was born on July 9, 1997, and entered eternal rest on December 21, 2025. She was born to Lakita Hall and Jerome Bailey. Kima as she was affectionately called, was a beautiful and loving daughter. She had a smile that would lighten up the room. At an early age, she was diagnosed with a rare cancer disease. And never once did she complain even after treatment after treatment she remained steadfast and unmovable and God did the rest. He healed her and gave her joy and peace.
Kima attended Newport News Public Schools having to attend Achievable Dream. Later, moving to North Carolina where she graduated from Bedding Field High School in Wilson, North Carolina. After, graduating from high school she returned to Newport News, VA and took employment with Amazon.
Yakime leaves to cherish her fond memories; her mother, Lakita Hall, her father; Jerome Bailey, grandmother; Joy Erestine Hill, six sisters; Makira, Aunisti, Nariah, Laila and Alina; seven brothers; Terral, Alton, Javon, of NN VA, and Javantae, Jerome and BJ of Lynchburg, VA and Holden of California; grandfather; Jerry Hill of Surry, VA, one aunt; Michele; Uncles, Demetrius Jordan (Charnda), Jermaine and Donta Jordan (Minnah) and her bonus mom; Helen. And a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
