Wildon Pittman born to the beloved late Roy Pittman (father) and Molly Kate “Jessie’ Weaver (mother) July 29th, 1946 in Edgecombe County, N.C.
Ms. Pittman was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. she was a friend to many, a sister, and aunt. Her life was a reflection of care, strength and unwavering love for those close to her, she valued family and instilled kindness and resilience that will continue for generations to come. Wildon will be remembered for her warm heart and the many lives she touched with her love and generosity. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Ms. pittman a woman received by christ at a young age and was a dedicated member to Living Water Tabernacle Baptist Church for the last 25 years.
Wildon lived life to the fullest as she enjoyed laughing, social activities, and dancing. She was a dynamic dresser, she loved holidays and was know for her sweet potato pies and turkeys. She was the life of the party at any event, she was affectionately known to many as “granny.”
Wildon Pittman is proceeded in death by brother Roy Pittman (Deloris) and sister Jane Whitaker. she, leaves to cherish her memories son Antone Long, daughter Wildon ”Renee” Hillard (Kenneth) grandchildren, Antone Johnson, Marcus long, Jace Long, LaTyma Smith, LaVone long and LaTrice Long. She leaves her memories with 14 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. A sister Bishop Marjorie Ruffin, brothers Jesse Pittman (Yvonne) and Michael Pittman.
It is the desire of the Pittman family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
