Our loving Wanda L. Robertson was born Wanda L. Robinson in Boston, Massachusetts on September 18, 1972 to Ray S. Robinson and Darlene M. Robinson-Hall. Wanda grew up in Prince George’s County where she received her early childhood education. Her family relocated to Hampton, Virginia where she completed her secondary education at Phoebus High School. In 1987, she met John H. Morst Sr., and they later gave birth to Jontai B. Morst. She subsequently met her husband Kolbie Robertson. They moved to Chicago, Illinois and eventually gave birth to a daughter Tabia and a son Akil. Several years later, she relocated to Maryland and gave birth to a son, Cameron Gatling.
Wanda enjoyed spending time with family, playing spades, laughing, dancing, singing, cooking, spending time with children, and listening to music. She had a smile that would light up a room and a heart that would warm your soul.
Wanda was preceded in death by her father Daniel J. Hall and her brother Darryl R. Robinson. She is survived by her mother Darlene M. Chambliss, her children Jontai B. Morst (Candace M. Jones), Tabia A. Robertson, Akil A. Robertson, and Cameron Gatling. Her grandchildren Noah J. Morst, Naomi A. Stamps, Eli Singh, and Zaydon Sweden. Her siblings, Shonda E. Rauls (Mike), Diwann E. Tyer, Shawn D. Tyer, Stephanie R. Parker-Davis (Antonio) Danita L. Hall, Danielle J. Hall, Briana I. Robinson (Greg Hollier), Renata A. Parker and a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends. We love you Wanda, and you’ll always be in my heart.
