Ms. Vivian Rice Obituary
Vivian Rice, mother, transitioned Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at her home in Newport News, Virginia surrounded by her family after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Ms. Rice was born Vivian Christina Carrion in 1969 in Massachusetts, to biological parents Santiago Carrion and Nidia Chaves and step-parents Mary Anne and Elroy Jones. She is survived by her two children, Carlos and Christopher, along with her three siblings, Luis, Ramon, and Zack.
Viewing for Ms. Rice will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc.
Graveside services for Ms. Rice will take place 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Parklawn Memorial Park.
