Ms. Sylvia Lunsford

Ms.  Sylvia Lunsford, age 78, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at her favorite place. She was a Newport News native and a beloved member of the Huntington High School Alumnae Association. She is survived by her loving daughters, Anne Katheryne Roberts, Charlotte, NC and Alycia Washington, Indianapolis and her 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

Viewing for Ms. Lunsford will be held from 1:00p.m. until 5:00p.m. Thursday, December 16, 2021 at at C.C.Carter Funeral Home, Inc. 

A service celebrating Ms. Lunsford's life  will be held 11:00a.m. Friday, December 17, 2021 at New Hope Baptist Church. 1415 Big Bethel Rd.Hampton, VA. by Dr. Christopher C. Carter Sr.,

Interment will follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
