Ms. Sherrae M. Brown

Ms. Sherrae M. Brown, 43, passed away from this life into eternal life Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at her home in Savannah, GA. Sherrae was born August 15, 1977 to Alma & Larry Brown in Newport News, VA where she attended Ferguson High School. She relocated to Savannah, GA In 2011 with her two daughters. Following her move her mother decided to move to pursue a better life for herself children.

Sherrae spent over 10 plus years in the hospitality business where she worked her way up to become a supervisor. She was a hard and dedicated worker.

Sherrae also better known as “Litbit” was the youngest of her four sister. “Lilbit” enjoyed music, as well as spending time with family and friends. She was very loving and caring always willing to give a helping hand or open home. Very forgiving & loyal she also enjoyed bonding time with her children. She loved to taking pictures. If you knew her you loved her a smile that could brighten your whole day. She also had a genuine heart/vibe. She always was a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on in your time of need. She gave great advice even if she was too stubborn to take her own. A great spirit leaving her mark on others. 

Sherrae was called home so soon to join  her mother who recently passed May 15,2021. 

Left to cherish her memories are her Father Larry Brown; Three sisters Tequietta Newby-Butts, Treana Newby and Ebony Brown; Brother Larry Brown Jr; Four children who she loved dearly Demonte Brown, Daquan Brown, Kabria Brown and Taleia Brown; newest addition her granddaughter Khloe’ Brown and a host of other lovely family and friends.

A memorial  service for Ms. Brown will be held 11:00a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2021 at New Hope Baptist Church 1415Big Bethel Rd. Hampton, VA.by Dr. Christopher C. Carter Sr.,
