Ms. Pennatta Grandberry

Ms. Pennatta Grandberry of Ahoskie, North Carolina, age 73, was called home December 29, 2025 at Riverside regional medical Center.

She is preceded in death by both parents, Ladene and Hersey Grandberry. 6 Sisters: Gracie Ralph and Sylvia Grandberry,Clara  Mae Grandberry, Rosebud Parker, Lizzie Grandberry Horton and Nell Lassiter. 3 Brothers: Hersey Grandberry JR and Dennis Grandberry and George Grandberry. 2 Nephew: Michael McCoy Grandberry and Larry Lionel Grandberry.

She leaves to cherish her memories of: One son Christopher Bernard Cooper and One Daughter Monica Grandberry both resided in Newport News, Virginia. 2 Sisters: Hilda Marie Grandberry of Newport News, Virginia, and Mary Collins of Murfreesboro,North Carolina. 1 Brother: Willie McCoy Grandberry of Harrellville, North Carolina and a loving Niece Alisha Grandberry of Newport News,Virginia. 3 Grandkids:Dyamond Cooper, Kevaughn Cooper and Shaniya Cooper. 2 Great Grandchildren: Ni’omi Tillery and Dhream Tillery. And a host of nieces and nephews and friends.

It is the desire of the Grandberry-Cooper family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.  

The family of Ms. Pennatta Grandberry has entrusted her final care to C. C. Carter Funeral Home.
