Ms. Patricia Woods

Patricia Jaye Woods received her wings on December 16, 2021. Patricia worked as a general manager for the Wendy’s Corporation for several years. Patricia’s proudest accolade was working with Democratic National Convention, as a campaign specialist during the former President Barack Obama administration. She worked during the campaign registering voters and educating the community on how important their vote would be. Patricia loved spending time with her family and friends, and always would lend an ear to whomever just needed to talk. She has never met a stranger, and would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. Her presence will truly be missed.

Patricia Jaye Woods is preceded in death by her father, Rufus Augusta Thigpen Sr., her mother Willie Sue Thigpen, sisters Deborah Askew, Dorothy Thigpen, and Lorna Thigpen, brother Rufus Augusta Thigpen Jr., and niece Tiarra Campbell.

She leaves to mourn, but cherish her memories, her special pet dog “Moo-Moo”; sister, Kathy Pelham; three special nieces Adreania Manley, Demetress Thigpen, and Amanda Campbell; four loving nephews Rodney Thigpen, William Thigpen (Tonja), Anthony Pelham, Antonio Pelham (Renita), Antwann Pelham, and Dwayne Manley; and host of great nieces, great-great nieces, and great nephews, great-great nephews and other family and friends.

The Woods family request that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
