Ms. Patricia Ann Parker

Mrs Patricia Ann Parker, 63 of Suffolk VA transitioned on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Sentera Carplex Hospital.  Mrs. Pat was born on December 21, 1957 to Mr. Thad Thorne Sr and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Harris- Thorne.

Mrs Pat was known in the community as a beacon of light and was selfless when it came to others. Mrs. Pat held several jobs, last was a cashier.

Mrs Patricia Ann Parker was proceeded in death by her mother Mrs Mary Elizabeth Harris Thorne and father Mr Thad Thorne Sr. One sister, Mrs Carolyn Sutton of Kentucky; Three brothers Mr Nathaniel Thorne, Mr James Harris ( Barbara Ann) and Mr Charles Harris ( Vickie) all of Suffolk, Virginia. And her beloved Granddaughter Ms Reazan Aniece Harris of Newport News.  With special remembrance of her Aunt Mrs Clara Mae Spruill and Mr Sinclair Willie Spruill whom adopted her at a young age.

Mrs. Pat leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Mrs Diane M. Harris-Howard ( Warren) of Va Beach  two sons Mr. Clarence T. Harris and Mr. Anthony B. Parker both of Newport News, VA. Two brothers Mr. Wayne Thorne of Suffolk and Mr. Thad Thorne Jr. of Charlottesville, VA and one sister Ms. Delois Harris of New York.  Mrs. Parker has 8 Granchildren and two Great-Granddaughters; along with a Host of family and friends.
 

A walk through viewing for Ms. Parker will be held from 1:00p.m. until 5:00p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at C.C.Carter Funeral Home, Inc. 

Services for Ms. Parker will be held 11:00a.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021 at New Hope Baptist Church 1415 Big Bethel Rd. Hampton, Va.by Dr. Christopher c. Carter Sr.,

Interment will follow service at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
