Ms. Patricia Ann Brewer Obituary

Ms. Patricia Ann Brewer, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, peacefully transitioned on April 2, 2026. She lived a life filled with strength, love, and unwavering faith in God. Her kindness, wisdom, and gentle spirit touched countless lives and will continue to be felt for generations to come.

Patricia Ann Brewer, a November 20, 1941, Grifton, North Carolina to the late Bertha Williams. She was raised in Kinston by her devoted grandparents, Susan and Archie Brewer, who were hardworking sharecroppers. Under their care, Patricia learned the true meaning of responsibility and perseverance at an early age. From a young age she helped with her family's farm.

These early experiences shaped her into a woman of strength, discipline, and determination-qualities she carried with her throughout her entire life. As the eldest of five girls, Patricia naturally stepped into a nurturing role within her family. She took great pride in helping care for her younger sisters and deve- loped lifelong bonds with them.

She leaves to cherish her memory her dear sisters Mary Devlin, Rosalyn Graham, and Sherly Richmond (Joe), and is preceded in death by her sister Joann. Growing up in a tight-knit family and community, Patricia enjoyed a childhood filled with simple joys-playing hopscotch, jackrocks,
and shooting marbles.

Patricia carried her passion for helping others into her professional life. She worked as a teacher at Savanah Middle School and later continued her service to others at Caswell Center, where she retired as a Developmental Technician.

Patricia was the mother of five children. Through perseverance and unconditional love, she created a home filled with care, guidance, and stability-Frederick Brewer and Deonko Brewer (Lanay).

She is preceded in death by her dear children Deborah Edwards, Gregory Brewer, and Rodney Brewer, Patricia's love extended across generations as she leaves behind grandchildren, great-grand- children, and great-great-grandchildren. Her life was a blessing to all who knew her.

Her memory will forever be cherished, and her legacy will live on through the many generations she leaves behind.

Patricia Ann Brewer was truly loved beyond words and  will be missed beyond measure.
