Ms. Pamela Reeves was born March 31st, 1962 in Ft. Monroe, VA. She was the youngest of five children, born to William Reeves Sr. and the late Elouise Reeves.
Growing up, Pam loved to spend time with her siblings, friends and relatives. She had an intense love for music, that would follow her throughout her life. Her younger years were spent in Phoebus, Virginia before the family later relocated to thehistorical Buckroe Beach area of Hampton, Virginia. During her years in the Hampton City Public Schools, she participated in sports including kickball and shot put. In 1981, she received her diploma from Kecoughtan High School. After graduation, she pursued a secondary education at Thomas Nelson Community College, but quickly found herself drawn towards adventure out west.
In 1982, Pam moved to Austin, Texas to explore what life had to offer. By 1982, her Lone Star journey led her to the IRS and the beginning of her career with the Federal Government. InNovember 1986, Pam would take the next step in her life’s journey by welcoming her first daughter, Nicole Reeves.
Eventually, life led her back home to Hampton, Virginia. Soon thereafter, she started her career as a Civil Service employee at Fort Eustis Army Base. Her time working on Post gave hermany opportunities for career advancement and accolades. Pam found some of her deepest friends and found family throughout her 38 years in the Civil Service.
In July 1999, Pam celebrated the joyous birth of her youngest daughter, Brittany Reeves. She spent the remainder of her life cherishing her time with her daughters as well as her family and friends. Pamela had a personality like no other and danced to the beat of her own drum. She was a light that lit up the room, her smile was infectious and her heart was pure as gold. She poured love into everyone in her life. She was an angel walking this Earth, that God called home.
She departed this transitory life on Tuesday, April 19th, 2022.
Pamela leaves to cherish her memory, her two daughters Nicole Reeves and Brittany Reeves. her siblings Gregory Reeves (Roye), Gwendolyn Ellis (Harvey), Angela Reeves-Ellis(Charles d.) and a host of relatives and Friends.
It is the desire of the Reeves family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
The family of Ms. Pamela Reeves has entrusted her final care to C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc.
