Nannie Annette Hill born on November 9, 1958 to the late Bessie Elizabeth and James Hill went to rest with the Lord suddenly on February 2, 2020. Annette was born and raised in Newport News, Virginia. She attended and graduated from Hampton High School and attended Norfolk State University. Annette served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. Annette was a friendly and lovable employee at Christopher Newport University for over 15 years and was adored by all who knew her.
Annette’s contagious smile and warm demeanor was a welcome site to everyone she met. Annette always expressed her LOVE to everyone she knew. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Annette stole the attention everywhere she went and it was easy to gravitate to her. The void of Annette’s absence can never be filled.
She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Nicole Hill, son Christopher Hill, grandchildren Elegacie Jones and Kayan Hill. Great grandchildren Kamaria and Kya Kenyatta, Sister Gloria Black, Brother James Hill Jr. (Cecilia), neices Kendra Cox, Amber Campbell, Alexandria Hill, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Ms. Hill will be held from noon until 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2020 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc.
Services for Ms. Hill will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Miracle Temple Baptist Church, 617 32nd Street Newport News, Virginia by Dr. Anthony Cooper.
Interment with Military honors will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Bedford Heights, OH.
