Morgan Danielle Hall, 40, of Norfolk, Virginia, passed away on June 9, 2026, due to complications of diabetes. Born on February 12, 1986, in Newark, Delaware, Morgan touched the lives of countless people with her generous spirit and unwavering warmth.
Morgan possessed a heart of gold, giving freely and abundantly to those around her, often far more than she ever received in return. Her kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered, and her generous nature defined the way she moved through the world.
Morgan was many things to many people: a daughter, a sister, a niece, a cousin, and a friend to all she met. Her final and most cherished accomplishment, her God-given role, was to be a mother to six beautiful children. She was not perfect, but none among us are. What set Morgan apart was the depth of her love and the openness of her giving heart.
Morgan was preceded in death by her mother, Donna G. Hall; her father, James Rodney Wilkes, Jr.; and her brother, Larry S. Hall. She is survived by her daughters, Dakaryana M. Terry Hall, Shamaya E. Donna Hall, Ajeana L. Hall, Sa'Naja Z. Ringgold, and Sa'yana C. Ringgold; her son, Lasiah Wilson; her sister, Twanna A. Hall; and her brothers, Syngin M. Hall and Shamine J. Hall. Maternal Aunt Zenda V. Hall, Kimberly B. Thomas-Wilson, Maternal Uncle Terrance D. Hall, Timothy Daggett, Brian B. Thomas and host of nieces, nephews.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be arranged at a later time with family and friends. May her passing be the catalyst that brings closeness and not further separation.
May she find rest at the end of her journey. She will be remembered and deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
It is the Hall/Wilson families desire that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
