Ms. Monifah Trinae Garris

Ms. Monifah Trinae Garris was called home for eternal rest on Wednesday Aug 25, 2021, at Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton Virginia. Monifah was born on July 25,1999 to parents, Michelle Garris, and the late Russell Strong.

Monifah attended and graduated from Hampton High School in 2017. She accepted Jesus Christ at a young age. Monifah was a young, loving, and independent daughter and sister. She was employed by Alorica.

Monifah is preceded in death by her father Russell Strong. Monifah leaves to cherish her memories her mother Michelle Garris and stepfather Dwayne Williams of Hampton Virginia, two brothers Jaquan Garris and Russell Greene, two sisters Anitra Garris, and Dionnie Williams, and a host of

family and friends. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Viewing for Ms. Garris will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Thursday, September 2, 2021, at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc.

A Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Garris will take place noon September 3, 2021, at Restoration & Faith Ministry, 2114 Wickham Avenue, Newport News, Virginia 23607 with Pastor Thurman R. Leonard presiding.

Interment will follow  at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
