Ms. MonaLisa Maxwell Daniels, a beloved mother, devoted grandmother, and loyal friend, entered eternal rest on January 4, 2026, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of love, compassion, kindness, and wisdom that touched all who knew her. Born on April 25, 1945, in Newport News, Virginia, to John R. and Anthoinett Maxwell, Monalisa enriched the lives of others throughout her life through her deep commitment to family, enduring friendships, and unwavering support.
MonaLisa took great pride in being a domestic engineer, devoting her life to a nurturing home. She was a loving, supportive, and encouraging mother whose life was marked by joy and peace. Her radiant smile and positive uplifting spirit will always be remembered. She was not just a hearer of the Word, but a doer (James 1:22).
She will be forever cherished by her sister, Angela Jones; daughter, Dionne Moreno, and son-in-law, Angel Moreno; son, Renardo Bell; daughter, Anthoinett Blackmore; grandchildren, Cortez Williams and Daniela Moreno; great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and treasured friends. She was predeceased by her daughter, Terrancy Maxwell, sister, Pamela Cosby, and grandson, Fabian Moreno.
MonaLisa Daniels will be deeply missed, but her love and light will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
