Ms. Lorna Jones

Ms. Lorna Jones, born on April 28, 1961, in Newark, New Jersey, Lorna passed away suddenly at home on April 30,2025. She is remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and caregiver.

She is survived by her three children—Russahn Jones (Sheretta), Russine Jones (Marshe), and Tamara Croom (Quinton)—and five grandchildren Nassir, Ja’nez, Aniyah, De’ven and Malani, Sandra Berry (Sister) and James Jones (Brother). She is preceded in death by her mother, Dorthy Scott; her father, Nicholas Jones; and her beloved sisters: Caroline Duncan, Cynthia Jones, Helen Jones, and Ruby Hornbuckle. She is also preceded by her brothers, Nicholas Jones and Robert Jones, and her granddaughter Iyanna. 

Lorna's legacy is one of unconditional love, strength, and service. She taught her family the importance of unity and loving without limits. Though she is no longer physically present, her spirit lives on in the lives she touched and the values she instilled. 

It is the desire of the Jones family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
