Ms. Krystal Williams Obituary

“For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight. I have finished the race, and I have kept the faith.” Krystal Lachon Williams a.k.a. “Big Bunch”, the daughter of Kermit and Melba Williams.
Her life began on December 31, 1984, in Newport News, VA. She gracefully embarked on her journey to eternal rest on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Riverside Regional Medical Center.
 Krystal was raised in Newport News, Virginia.

She attended Newport News Public Schools and graduated from Woodside High School. She moved to Valdosta Georgia and returned to live in Norfolk Virginia. Krystal was in the process of achieving her degree in social work at Tidewater Community College. She worked at Cox Communications.


At an early age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and joined First Baptist Church Denbigh. Krystal was adventurous, creative, strong-willed, kind, and giving. She loved her family. She was gifted in her interactions with autistic children and those with special needs.

Her passions included drawing, painting, design, travel, and writing poems. In her past time she enjoyed going to beaches. The book of Matthew was her favorite book in the bible. Her favorite scripture is Matthew 6:9-13.


Krystal is predeceased by maternal grandparents Edward and Barbara Moore, One aunt Victoria Davis (Vicki), and one uncle Aaron Moore (Mousie), and Fraternal grandparents Christine Overby and William H Williams. Two uncles William Williams and Derrick Williams.

She leaves to celebrate her life and wonderful memories : her parents Kermit and Melba Williams, one sister Ms. Markesha Williams and four fur babies Mr. Biggs, Mamas, Fat Man, and Bella. Best friends include Jennifer Harris and Sheena Sparks; two God children Nata’la Arrington and Malaya Harris, Two uncles Leonard Cutler (Tameka) and Edward Moore (Kollette), and Five aunts Barbara Cutler (Arlene) Barbara Williams, Alzenia Thomas, Consandra Williams, Denise Mclaughlin as well as a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

 

 

It is the desire of the Williams family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
