Ms. Imani B. Parrish Sunrise March 23, 1997 - Sunset April 30, 2025

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of beautiful Imani B. Parrish, who left us far too soon on April 30, 2025, at the age of 28. Born on March 23, 1997, Imani was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter, aunt, and friend.
 

A resident of Newport News, VA, she was employed at the Newport News Shipyard as a painter, where she was known for her hard work ethics, bright smile and the many friendships she formed throughout her years there. Imani had a passion for creating custom T-Shirts and music playlists to play at family gatherings that filled the room with music and joy.

Her smile, laughter and energy lit up every gathering. She loved taking selfies/pictures and spending time with family and co- workers. Imani will be remembered for her natural beauty, infectious smile, kindness, strength and the love she gave so freely. She will live on through her son and in the memories of so many friends she left behind. Imani's utmost joy in life was being a mother to her beloved son Master King Veney (10) who was the center of her world.

Imani is survived by her son King, her devoted loving Mother Nichole Parrish, her mother's partner Mavion Willis who was like a father figure in Imani's life, a loving Brother Ray A. Jones and his wife Khadijah, a cherished little niece Amari Jones(3), a devoted, loving, caring Grandmother Veronica Johnson, a Great Aunt Tanya Thompson, a Great Uncle William Thompson, an Uncle Brian Parrish, first Cousins Kevin T., Ayerk P., Storm P., and other cousins; all of whom she held close and dear in her heart.

It is the desire of the Parrish/ Veney  families  that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

The family of Ms. Imani B. Parrish  has entrusted her final care to C. C. Carter Funeral Home.
