Ms. Glanice Boone

On Tuesday morning, June 21, 2022, God sent one of His Angels on an assignment. The assignment was to bring home Glanice Boone. She slipped into peaceful rest and entered the land of Glory. Glanice received her formal education in Newport News Public Schools.

She was a graduate of Carver High School class of 1957. Glanice worked at NASA Langley in Hampton for 18 years until she retired.

Her legacy is seen in those who cherish her memory, her two daughters, Ardelia Williams (James) and Sheneca Strickland; four grandchildren, Dominique Strickland, Demetrius Strickland, Da’Javon Saunders, and JaCoby Farrow; 10 great grandchildren; two sisters, Cora Sterns and Ruth Webb; three brothers, Alton Brown, Nathaniel Brown (Christine), and Leroy Brown. A host of special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends are also left to cherish her memory.
