Ms. Gail Lennett Tittle Warren, 55 years old of Newport News, Virginia, passed away on May 14, 2025. Gail earned her Master of Education (M.Ed.) from Capella University and was a proud graduate of Willingboro High School in Willingboro, New Jersey. She dedicated her professional life to serving others through various roles in education, health, and community advocacy.
She worked as an educator with Newport News Public Schools, Portsmouth Public Schools, Oyster Point Academy, Virginia Department of Correctional Education, Hampton City Schools and Richmond City Schools, where she impacted the lives of countless students and families with her patience, dedication, and quiet leadership. Gail also served as a Business Development Executive for First Option Mortgage. She was a licensed agent with Family First Life Insurance and an independent grant writer supporting nonprofits and community-based organizations.
Gail was a lifelong learner and servant leader whose professional journey reflected her deep commitment to uplifting others. She was known for her strength, grace, and unwavering support for her family and community. Gail and her siblings were US Army dependents and was passionate about family. In fact, she was informally known as the “family historian”, maintaining and archiving the various branches of the Tittle, Buchanan and Gillis bloodlines.
She was preceded in death by her mother Geraldine Williams Tittle and father Willie Roy Tittle Sr. Her survivors include her brothers Willie Roy Tittle Jr., Rowland Tittle, and Alexander Tittle Sr. (Lisa Tittle), sister Vera Tittle Hansley, nieces and nephews Tyshaun Tittle, Indya Hansley, Deon Hansley, Raven Tittle, and Alexander “AJ” Tittle Jr., her beloved companion Raymond Rouse, and a host of extended family and friends who were touched by her kindness and strength.
It is the desire of the Warren-Tittle families that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
