Ms. Eunice Copeland

Our Matriarch Mrs. Eunice R. Copeland transitioned on May 8th, 2023. She was born December 24th, 1938. 
She is preceded in death by her late husband Daniel W. Copeland Jr.; Two of her children Daniel W. Copeland III & Patricia A. Reese; her mother and father the late Mrs. Elizabeth White and Mr. William Jordan Sr,; brother Alton White; sisters Maggie Jordan, Annie Mae Hillard, Dorothy Farmer and Virtley Holloman; her grandson Deforest M. Copeland & great grandson Derrick Benjamin.
 
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her children Venesta O. Baker, Kenneth F. Copeland,& William A. Copeland. Her grandchildren Toni Goodman(George), Derrick A. Copeland(Asia), William D. Copeland, & LaKeisha D. Cogdell. Great grand children Micheal  D.T. Joyner, Geshun Goodman, Gewan Goodman, Dy’Monique P. Singleton, Emiya A. Singleton, Antonio L.A. Cogdell, Davin A. Copeland,& Talia Copeland. Along with eleven great great grandchildren. Sisters Louise Whitehead, Oretha Mingga, Bessie Spratley, & Ethel Whitfield. Brothers Larry and William Jordan Jr. A niece that she had a special bond with Donna Clarke and her best friend/ sister Vernell Collins. 

Eunice Copeland was born December 24, 1938 and on that day a very beautiful soul was born here on earth she was a wonderful kind and caring mother as well as grandmother, sister, and Wife. She was had the style of a model and the home decor like no one else. She was always the life of any event as she owned the room with her presence. She loved having gatherings that included her family and friends and boy could she throw a party. To know her was to love her. Her wisdom will be greatly missed as well as her creativity she definitely was one of a kind and I’m ever so glad to have been able to share these forty yrs of my life with her as I’m sure you all are.
 

She graced the world with eighty four years of greatness now it’s her time to rest her beautiful eyes thank you for a the love you have given, all the lessons you taught and the meals you’ve made you are and will forever be appreciated for simply gracing us with the presence of you. 

It is the desire of the Copeland family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
