Emma Lee Wiggins is the second oldest child born to James A. Wiggins and Mary J. Wiggins on February 23, 1943. Lee graduated from Carver High School Class of 1962. Lee began her workforce career Babysitting and working numerous retail positions concluding her retirement from Sears Roebuck and Co. in August 2002.
Lee gave her life to Christ as a young adult and had an abundant amount of love for her Church of God family, by singing with the Suffolk Airs and baking amazing assorted desserts prior to her illness. Emma Lee may not have had natural children as Mother’s do, however, she was a Mother figure to many.
Emma Lee leaves to cherish her memory an older brother James Wiggins, caregivers, nieces and nephew Jessica Cunningham, Ja’Nae Cunningham and Jordan Cunningham, along with a host of nieces, great nieces, great nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in passing by one brother and three sisters.

Viewing for Ms. Wiggins will be held from 1:00p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2021 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home. Inc
Services for Ms. Wiggins will be held 1:00p.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at New Hope Baptist Church 1415 Big Bethel Rd. Hampton, VA. by Dr. Christopher C. Carter Sr.,
Interment will follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens .
