Ms. Cynthia A. Hudson

Ms. Cynthia Ann Hudson, 73, went home to be with the Lord on October 16, 2025. She was born on August 12, 1952 to the late William Rogers Sr. and Marie O. Hudson Rogers in Newport News, VA. Cynthia grew up in Newport News VA and graduated from Carver High School Class of 1971.

Cynthia was a member of New Life Church in Hampton, VA. She was employed with James River Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center for many years as a Dietary Aide. She retired in 2011 when her health begin to fail.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Rogers Sr. and Marie Hudson Rogers; her brothers, William Rogers Jr., Joey Rogers and James Rogers.

She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Belinda Squires of Newport News, Va; two sons, Antonio (Latara) Hudson of Hampton, Va. and Andre Hudson of Newport News, Va; her two grandchildren, Antonio Hudson Jr. and Ladaven Hudson both of Hampton Va; three sisters, Mary (Herley) Jones of Newport News, Va. Patricia Moore of Hampton, Va. and Rita (Rhondey) Blow of Newport News, Va; two brothers, Pastor Arthur (Constance) Rogers of Newport News, Va. and Carl (Ellen) Rogers of Newport News, Va; one Uncle, Mitchell Rogers of Smithfield, Va; her two goddaughters, Jeanna and Teena Rhines and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends. Cynthia will be greatly missed.
