Ms. Alma Goodwin

Mrs. Alma BettyJean Goodwin 74 departed her life on August 28, 2021. She was born on December 2 1946 in Elizabeth County and grew up in Cape Charles Virginia but a Resident of Newport News Virginia.
Alma was employed at John Phillips Seafood and Holiday Inn but was best known for her love of babysitting.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father Floyd and Margret Smith a life long friend Kennith Freeman and a grandson Jamel Goodwin
Alma is survived by her sons Edward Lattyford Goodwin and Eddie Butch Carter and daughter Kenita Elizabeth Goodwin a brother Melvin Goodwin Grandchildren Darryl Kevin Crystal Chenelle Jalen Brianda Karl De Quan KaShai Darrell and Malik greatgrands,and close family & friends.

We will all miss her, but we will carry her lovingly in our hearts until we meet again.

Services for Mrs. Goodwin will be held noon Thursday, September 23, 2021 at C.C.Carter Funeral Home. Inc. by Dr. Christopher C.Carter Sr.,
