Roxanna “ FoxyRoxy” Turner

Roxanna Turner, 70  peacefully transitioned to her Heavenly Father January 7th 2022 in her residence.

Roxy was born April 15th, 1951 in Halifax NC to the late MaEthel Alexander and Lonnie Turner. Ms. Roxanna was known as “ Roxy “ . She was a native of Halifax NC, and a lifelong resident of Newport News VA. She attended West Martin High School in Oak City, North Carolina. She enjoyed riding to North Carolina With her favorite cousins Mack & Jerry Alexander . She also loved shopping and spending time with her family. She worked in housekeeping until she became ill.

Roxanna was preceded in death by her parents, MaEthel and Lonnie Turner; her sisters, Susie Powell, DorthyMae Turner, MamieLee Turner; and brothers, JamesHenry and Robert Turner.  Also preceding her in death was her grandson, Demetrius Hunter.  She leaves to cherish her memory 4 daughters,  Mary, Sharon, Susan, and Teresa Turner and brother Albert Alexander of Virginia Beach, VA.  Her granddaughters Denise, Shemika, Tiffany, Timisha Turner and Adonya Wardrett.  Grandsons Christopher, Lawrence, Mario and Breshard Turner.  Great grandchildren Deamontay, Taniya, Denisha, Demetrius, Demtrik, Serenity, Demoni & Josiah. Great-great grandchildren Dillan, Tristen, Kaden, Amylah, Kamdynn, Sadiyah, Mario Jr., and Sienna Turner;  and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.  She will be Truly Missed!
