Mrs. Lisa D. Banks Peterson

Mrs. Lisa Dionna Banks Peterson transitioned on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia.

She was welcomed into heaven by her mother and father William Henry Banks Sr. and Barbara Natalie Banks.

Lisa was born on June 8, 1966, in Hampton, Virginia and she attended Menchville High School. She loved spending time with her grandkids. She was a caretaker and an entrepreneur. Lisa was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother.

Lisa leaves to cherish her memory; three siblings, Lynette Banks, William Henry Banks Jr. (late), Jeffery Banks, four daughters; Candice Banks (late), Latesha Peterson, Aisha Talton & Khadijah Charnock, nine grandchildren; Michael Banks, Malcolm Banks, Taraji Thomas, Amari Talton, Aiden Charnock, Armani Talton, Noah Charnock, King Banks and Ezra Charnock, a significant other Samual Turner and host family and friends.  Her presence will be deeply missed. Rest in Peace Lisa.

A walk-through viewing for Mrs. Banks Peterson will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Thursday, June 3, 2021 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc.

COVID-19 restrictions will be followed. Mask are required for entry into C.C. Carter Funeral Home.
