Mrs. Henry Anne Hopkins

Henry Anne Hopkins was born October 26, 1950. She transitioned peacefully to be with the Lord on August 13, 2019 at the age of 68. Henry Anne was born in San Antonio, Texas. She resided in Newport News, Va. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Smith Green and mother, Endia Green, two brothers, Huey Don Green and Noah Kline.

She leaves to mourn, a dedicated husband, James C. Hopkins, three daughters, Cynthia Hopkins-Jones, Lavesa Rena Hopkins, Gloria Ann Hopkins, family, friends, and a host of other relatives. Born in San Antonio, TX and relocated to Newport News, VA, She attended Saint Leo University and received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, two years in medical records and CNA. Henry Anne was involved in the “Care Ministry” from 1987—1991 at Victory Life Church.

Henry Anne was involved in ministry in the Misawa, Japan church in the 70’s. She has been saved and spiritfilled. She worked as a substitute teacher in the Newport News school system. Henry had a very effective impact on all that she came in contact with. She worked at Langley Air Force Base and Fort Eustis as a cashier and retired in 2001.

A viewing for Mrs. Henry Anne Hopkins will be held from noon until 6:00 p.m. Monday August 19, 2019 at C.C. Carter Funeral home, Inc.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Victory Life Church 1741 W. Queen Street Hampton, VA by Pastor Gill.

Interment will follow at Albert G. Horton Memorial Veterans Cemetery Suffolk, VA.
