My beautiful Mother Fannie M. Knight entered this world on October 22, 1933 and departed this world on January 22, 2022. She was born in Greenville, AL to Etto George (deceased) and Jim Ray (deceased) She and her brother Joe (deceased) were raised by their grandmother Magnolia (deceased) .
While in Greenville, she was a member of Butler Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church. She moved to Pensacola, Fl. in the early 60's with her daughter, Georgia. She married James(deceased) in the mid 60's. They were married over 30 years.
She was faithful member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where she became an Ordained Minister in the 90's. She was the stepmother to Beulah (deceased), Jeannette (deceased), Beverly and Griffin. She leaves behind Jessica (granddaughter), Nathan (grandson) and step grandchildren and great grandchildren, a niece Yolanda and her family, cousins, Barbara Ann and Glenda and their family. She leaves many, many more cousins and relatives and countless of friends with whom she loved and spoke of.
My mother is gone in body but never in my heart. She is still here because her love is still here. I know she is in no more pain. -Absent from the body Present with the Lord.
It is the desire of the Knight/ Artis families that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
