Mrs. Carolyn Roscoe Obituary

Mrs. Carolyn Roscoe a member Ivy Farms Community of Faith Church, Newport News, VA. transitioned peacefully on Friday, March 1, 2019. at Riverside Nursing and Rehab Center, Hampton, VA.

 

She was born June 1, 1944 in Newport News, Virginia to the late John and Betty Williams. Carolyn was a loving mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She graduated from Huntington High School class of 1962. She worked at Bendix, Siemens, and Continental for 39 years and retired in 2008. Carolyn was a member of Ivy Farms Community of Faith Church. Carolyn was truly loved and she will be greatly missed. 

 

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents John and Betty Williams, brother Nathaniel Trower, and her husband Ronald Roscoe.

 

Her memories will be missed by her sons Keith Roscoe (Gracie) of Hampton, Virginia and Patrick Roscoe of Longview, Texas. Sisters Helen Keller of Newport News, Virginia; Kathy Thompson of Newport News, Virginia; Gloria Murphy of Houston, Texas; and Kay Garrett (Floyce) of Washington, DC.

 

Brothers Jeffery Williams of Newport News, Virginia; Jerry Williams of Alexandria, Virginia; and a host of loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

 

Services for Mrs. Carolyn Roscoe will be held noon Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Ivy Farms Home Community Church. 55 Ivy Farms Road Newport News, VA 23601 by Pastor Jamison.

 

Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

 

A viewing for Mrs. Carolyn Roscoe will be held noon to 5 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2019 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc. 3314 Roanoke Ave Newport News, VA 23607.

 

It is the desire of the Roscoe family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
