Mrs. Betty Jean Hill

Mrs. Betty Jean Carroll Hill, 80, died after a difficult battle with lung cancer on Saturday, June 19, 2021 in Virginia. She was born in Maringouin, Louisiana. Betty was preceded in death by her father, Charley Edward Carroll, Sr.; her sister, Charley Mae; and her husband, William Hill Jr. She is survived by her mother, Leona Carroll; sisters: Madeline, Glenda, Ruby, Delisa (Cedric) and brother, Charley Jr.; children: Rhonda (J.J.), Dietrich (Keavy), Pamela (Arthur); grandchildren: Lydia, Joron, Jerriney, Chaise; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life, along with the spreading of her ashes will be held in Maringouin, Louisiana on September 4, 2021. In lieu of flowers or any other tributes, the family has asked that donations be made to https://norfolkbotanicalgarden.org In Memory of Betty Jean Carroll Hill.
