Mrs. Angella Maria Borum of Hampton, Virginia, born November 22, 1953, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 27, 2021. She was 67 years old. Angella attended Hampton High School, and graduated in the class of 1972. After attending Hampton High School, she was employed with the Hampton Police Department. She retired from the United States Army Transportation at Fort Eustis, as a budget analyst and later was employed at West Communication Center.
She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church under Dr. Christopher C. Carter Sr., where she worshiped the Lord and accepted him as her savior. She loved church, traveling, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved coffee and had to have two donut sticks everyday for breakfast.
She leaves her daughter, Ne’eman Divinity El-Bey (LaShanda Marie Borum), her son, Julius Michael Borum, five grandchildren, Zavier, Zanae, Jord’n, Amir and Unique. She also leaves to mourn her mother, Estella Howard, her special aunt Linda Hudson; brothers, William Howard Jr. and Gary Howard; sisters, Gladys Davis and Katricia Woods (James); aunts, uncles, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death, was her husband, Barrett Borum Jr, her father, William Howard Sr, and a sister, Carolyn Roberson.
