Mr. Xavier R. Parker

Mr. Xavier Rashad Parker, Son of the late Leroy A. Parker was called home to be with our lord on September 26,2020. He is also joined in death with his Grandmother Cynthia M. Wilson and Grandfather Wayne L. Wilson Sr. and Russell Batten Sr.

Mr. Xavier Rashad Parker was born August 4, 1997 in Newport News, VA.  He started school at the early age of 3. He attended Newport News Public Schools graduating in 2015 from Woodside High School.   Xavier received a Presidential Award in the 5th grade and maintained Honors classes. He then joined the United States Navy.  He was fluent in Spanish, and a member of the Peninsula Boys & Girls Club.  He was a member of Rock Church where he was baptized as a child of God.

Xavier had a loving smile and personality that was very contagious.  He loved people and was a very helpful person.  His favorite fan was Michael Jackson among others.  He loved dancing, tumbling, and reading. He will be dearly missed.

Xavier leaves behind his mother Ms. Regina S. Wilson, Kwamane J. Parker (Brother), Cynthia Adams, Lisa Wilson, Chicquita, Vinetta, Renata and Carolyse Batten (Aunts), Maggie Batten (Grandmother), Nasir and Jaxir (Nephews), Wayne L. Wilson Jr., and Jamarie Batten (Uncles).  Xavier also leaves behind a host of Family and friends.

Viewing will be held for Mr. Parker Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 1:00p.m. until 4:00p.m. at C.C.Carter Funeral Home. Inc.

 Services will be held for Mr. Parker 11:00a.m Friday, October 9, 2020 at C. C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc. by Dr. Christopher C. Carter Sr,.

Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

It is the desire of the Parker/ Wilson family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
