Mr. William Malone III

Mr. William Henry Malone III, a life-long resident of Newport News, Virginia was called to his heavenly home on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 71 years old. William Malone was born on July 14, 1949 to Marise Malone and William Malone Jr., in Newport News, Virginia. He graduated from Huntington High School and then went to the United States Army where he received an Honorable Discharge.
 
 

William Henry Malone III was a devoted husband for 28 years. He was a loving stepfather and grandfather. He enjoyed Baseball and going to the VA Medical Center where he faithfully volunteered and would spend time with most of his friends. William loved drinking Pepsi Cola and sitting in the lobby of his residence where he would look out the window and enjoy the scenery. Catching the bus to the VA Medical Center was one of his favorite pastimes until he became ill and could no longer go on his own.

 

William Henry Malone III was preceded in death by his father William Malone, Jr.  He is survived by his loving wife Lacy Malone who he truly adored, he called her “Ma”. William is also survived by his step- children; Loretta Steward, Alphonso Steward (Winter); Jose Bynum (Nita); Wilson Bynum (Debbie); one sister Angela Malone, a special friend Yvonne Newsome Bynum, along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
 
 

Viewing for Mr. Malone will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc.

Services for Mr. Malone will commence at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021 in the chapel of C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc.

Interment with Military Honors will take place at Albert G. Horton Jr., Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, Virginia.
