Mr. William Equllie Clark III, husband of Mrs. Albernia G. Clark and a member of St. James United Methodist Church, Hampton, VA. transitioned Friday, January 8, 2021 at Riverside Regional Medical Center, Newport News, VA.
William was born in Newport News, Va on February 10, 1947 to mother Doris Wheeler Clark and William E Clark Jr. He was the second born of five children. He graduated from Huntington High School in 1965. William married Albernia Gary, high school friend, in 1968. He retired from Creative Office Environments after decades of dedication.
William was creative, would often build and fix things for family and friends. He had every known tool, loved motorcycles, and a collection eagles. He was a member of Friends Social & Civic Club, Road Burners Motorcycle Club, and several organizations at St. James United Methodist Church. William was often a soloist with The Inspirational Choir. William loved spending time with his family and friends.
Mr. William Equllie Clark III is survived by daughter, La’Tonya Clark, three grandchildren Nia Smith, Ian Smith, & Rey Smith, siblings, Bradahoria Clark, Jennifer Darlene Askew, Sheila Sivells, and Alecia Williams (Terry) and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. William also had a wealth of great friends, co-workers, and people that considered him an inspiration, mentor, and father figure.
A walk through viewing for Mr. Clark will be held from `1:00p.m. until 5:00p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2021 at C.C.Carter Funeral Home, Inc.
Services for Mr. Clark will be held 11:00a.m Friday, January 15, 2021. in the Chapel of C.C.Carter Funeral Home, Inc.
