Mr. Vincent Whitehead

Mr. Vincent M. Whitehead, son of loving parents Berry C. and Ozella M. Whitehead (both deceased), was born in Hampton, Virginia on March 13, 1966.   He answered his call to his eternal home on Friday, January 18, 2019.

He attended Hampton Public Schools and was employed with Christopher Newport University’s Custodial Dept.

Vincent leaves to cherish his memories: his caring fiancé, Annette Crocker, and their loving children Ashley Washington (Rashod), Kiara Caver (Cameron), Maria Whitehead (Joey), Tamia Reed (Malik), and Vincent Whitehead Jr.; his devoted brothers, Harry (Edwadine), and Stanley Whitehead, his beloved sister, Phyllis Morgan (Bernard), and a host of other relatives and friends.  Vincent was also preceded in death by his brother, Berry C. Whitehead, Jr.

Funeral services will be held 11:00a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019 at New Hope Baptist Church, 1415 Big Bethel Road, Hampton, VA. by Dr. Christopher C. Carter Sr.

Interment will follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens. 

It is the desire of the Whitehead family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Viewing will be from noon– 5 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2019 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc. 3314 Roanoke Avenue, Newport News, VA, and two hours prior to the service at the Church.
