Mr. Tyraine Ramond Newman

Tuesday, November 3, 2020 Tyraine Ramond Newman, AKA Rusty, entered eternal rest from a long illness.  Rusty was born July 19, 1953.  He was a graduate of Huntington High School, Class of 1971.  A veteran of the United States Marine Corps he was stationed mainly in Cherry Point, North Carolina but did several tours of duty in Okinawa, Japan. For many years Rusty worked as drywall installation specialist. He was an active member of West End Baptist Church in Hampton, Virginia and served on the Usher Board until health issues prevailed.

Rusty was the dearly beloved husband of Evelyn Newman for 25 years.  The father of six children:  Ray L. Davis of Hampton, Tyraine O. Newman of Richmond, Lachele Amos of New Bern, North Carolina, Terron Amos of Cary, North Carolina, Aja Newman Lee (Alexandria) of Hampton and Donte Ashley-Newman of Massachusetts.

Also left to cherish his memory are his mother Annie Clark of Newport News; three sisters, JoAnne Crematie of Hampton, Terri Newman of Newport News, Wanda Williams (Derrek) of Chesapeake, one brother Eric Green (Felecia) of Hampton and one brother-In-law Jerry Cheek (Carolyn) of Littleton, North Carolina.  Fourteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, church family, close friends and neighbors.

It is the desire of the Newman family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

The family of Mr. Tyraine Ramond Newman has entrusted his final care to the staff of C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc.
