Mr. Tracy Carter Jr., affectionately known as "Doozie" and "Uncle Duke" was born in Hampton Va. on Dec. 14, 1989 to the parents of Rev. Tracy Carter Sr. and Mrs.Janet Carter. He became a true angel on Saturday January 11, 2020.
He played football for McEachern High school where he graduated in 2008. He completed his trade at South Texas Vocational Technical Institute and was the maintenance supervisor for Belmont Place. "On Friday, Tracy Carter had the most successful week and it is history. In less than 90 days Tracy was able to bring the company out of the hole we've been drowning in for 2 years. He was the best teammate I've ever had." Jillian Levine, Property Manager.
He loved being with his family and especially his children. His committment to his wife and family was monumental. From his early childhood Tracy has always been the most kindhearted and sweetest person you would ever meet. He lived his life to the fullest and knew how to have a great time. He was selfless, humble, caring and had a unforgettable smile.
Tracy Carter Jr. preceded in death by his brother Desmond, Paternal grandparents George and Dorothy Washington and Maternal grandmother Rosetta Carter White.
Left to Cherish there memories of Tracy are his loving wife Emily Carter; four children Trinity, Zillah, Akira and Evan; His Parents Rev. Tracy Carter Sr, and Mrs. Janet Carter; his eight siblings Juanita (Caldwell) Gerald, Janell Washington, Willie (Lorie) Washington, Charles (Jazmine) Orr, Shiquita Monet’ Washington, Juanice Washington, Felicia Carter, Ashley Washington; uncles Donald Ray Carter, Ramone Carter, Dr. Christopher C. (Anita) Carter, Sr.; aunts Francine Carter, Helena Washington and Georgia (Brian) Burley. Nieces; Anaysha, Janiya, Destiny, Greenleigh, Santana, Graelyn, Jersey, nephews; Elijah, Isaiah, Daevon, Derron, Mehki, Ayden, Damian, Khaleed, Jordan, Jeremy, Mason, Eli, Micah and a host of ralatives and friends.
Viewing and family visitation for Mr. Carter will be held Friday January 17, 2020. from 5:00p.m.until 8:00 p.m. at Greener Pastures Funeral Home. 4405 Marietta St. Powder Springs, GA. 30127 (770)943-0222
Services for Mr. Carter will be held noon Saturday, January 18, 2020 at New Hope Baptist Church, 4192 Brownsville Rd. Powder Springs GA. 30127. Dr. Ralph Steed. Senior Pastor. Dr. Christopher C. Carter Sr., (Uncle and Eulogist).
Interment will follow at Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens. Mableton, Ga.
