Mr. Thearthur (Bay Bay)Baylor Jr.,

On Saturday, March 14, 2020 Thearthur (BayBay) Baylor, Jr. transitioned from his earthly home and entered into eternal rest with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

BayBay was born on May 15, 1953 to the late Thearthur Baylor Sr. and Eula Baylor in Virginia. He received his formal education in the Hampton Public School System and graduated very proudly as a football player  from Hampton High School. BayBay was Navy veteran and was also a retired Rigger at the Newport News Shipyard (Huntington Ingalls). 

BayBay was a fun-loving, kind-hearted, jokester who loved his family immensely. He loved to cook, make people smile, laugh and just overall made whoever he came in contact with happy. He had one of the most sweetest, genuine souls there ever was & always made everyone feel like family. Some of BayBay’s favorite things were watching olds westerns (Cheyenne), talking about history (He never forgot a date & time of anything!), dressing sharply and the WASHINGTON REDSKINS!! 

He leaves to cherish his memory wife, Loctina Baylor, three children: Lamont, Dana and Lavena, two sisters: Barbara (Darryl) and Betty, one brother: Ronnie, a daughter in- law Sharon Rodriquez. ten grandchildren: She’lisa, Xavier, Chenelle, Ivann II, Taliah, Omar, Diego, Jalen, Krystal and Justin, one great-grandchild: Hailie and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

It is the desire of the family of the late Thearthur (BayBay) Baylor, Jr. that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers always. With gratitude they would like to express their appreciation and love for all your beautiful expressions, kind words, prayers and visits during their hours of bereavement. May God continue to richly bless each of you. 

Viewing for Mr. Baylor will be held from noon until 5:00p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at C.C.Carter Funeral Home. Inc. 

Services for Mr. Baylor will be held 11:00a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2020 at New Hope Baptist Church 1415 Big Bethel Rd, Hampton, VA. by Dr. Christopher C. Carter Sr., 

 Interment will follow at at Greenlawn Memorial Park .
