Terroll Delnore Glee, Sr., better known as Terrell, a man of profound faith, rhythm, and dedication, entered into eternal rest on March 13, 2026. Born on January 8, 1959, Terrell’s life was defined by his love for his family, his community, and his Creator.
A Life of Dedication and Joy
A proud product of the Newport News community, Terrell graduated from Menchville High School in 1977. Shortly after, he began a long and respected career at the Newport News Shipyard, where his hard work and commitment contributed to the legacy of the local industry.
From his youth, Terrell was captivated by the power of music. Many will remember him for his vibrant spirit behind the turntables during his time as a DJ, a passion that allowed him to share joy and connection through every beat.
A Servant’s Heart
Terrell’s faith was the cornerstone of his life. He was a devoted and active member of First Fruits of Praise Worship Center, where he found purpose and fellowship. His love for music and his faith intersected beautifully through his involvement, which he used to lift others up in worship.
A Lasting Legacy
Terrell’s greatest pride was his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness that will be carried on by those who knew him best.
He is survived by:
His beloved and faithful wife: Patricia Glee, Mother: Eunice Parker, three sons: Calvin Cephas, Andre Cephas, and Terroll Glee, Jr, siblings: Erroll Glee, Charles “Chucky” Glee, and Angela “Nikki” Madison, ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Terrell was a man who moved through life with a song in his heart. While he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in knowing he has gone home to be with God.
“To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”
It is the desire of the Glee Family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
