Mr. Sayeed Nsiah Richards was born on a sunny Thursday, November 4, 1999, in Kingston, Jamaica,
to the loving parents of Keticia Dennis and Peter Richards. From the very beginning, Sayeed’s
life radiated warmth and light — a light that would continue to shine in the hearts of all who
knew and loved him.
At the age of six, Sayeed relocated to Virginia Beach, Virginia, with his mother, where he began
building the life and connections that would shape his journey into young adulthood. As a child,
he was bright, playful, and full of personality. He had a natural way of adding joy to every room
he entered. Well-mannered and kind-spirited, Sayeed carried a smile that could lift the hearts of
those around him and leave a lasting impression on everyone he met.
During his school-age years, Sayeed developed a love for soccer. In middle school, he proudly
played the sport he enjoyed so much and later competed in club soccer with the Panthers.
Whether on the field or among friends, he was known for his calm, “chill,” and laid-back nature.
His easygoing personality made him someone people felt comfortable around — a steady
presence and loyal friend. True to his style, he loved wearing hoodies, a simple reflection of his
relaxed and authentic spirit.
As he grew older, Sayeed’s creativity began to flourish. He had a deep passion for anime and
gaming, interests that became avenues for connection and expression. He was a content creator
who enjoyed editing videos and producing reaction content, combining humor, commentary, and
creativity. Through his digital platforms, Sayeed did more than entertain — he inspired. He
consistently encouraged others to follow their dreams, pushing friends and viewers alike to strive
for more and believe in their potential.
Family meant everything to Sayeed. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his baby
brother, Saivon, whom he loved dearly. Their bond was special, filled with laughter, guidance,
and brotherly love that will forever be cherished.
Answering a call to serve something greater than himself, Sayeed enlisted in the United States
Army in 2019. He faithfully served in the Transportation Department until 2023. His military
service reflected his discipline, dedication, and willingness to contribute to the well-being of
others and his country — a quiet strength that spoke volumes about his character.
Beyond his service, Sayeed was also a hardworking young man. He supported his family through
his work at their restaurant, Jerk Sauce, where he contributed time and effort to help build their
business. Most recently, he was employed at Chick-fil-A, continuing his commitment to
diligence and service with the same pleasant demeanor people had always known him for.
Sayeed’s legacy lives on through his beloved son, Sylo Peele-Richards, who carries forward his
father’s light and love.
He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings: Savion, Blake, Bryan, Montreal, Javien,
Camille, Quana, Shantau Thompson, Danielle, Soriya, Brielle, Kahlessi, Devonte, and Josiah
Richards. He leaves to cherish his memory a host of extended family members including Joan Morris,

many other relatives, friends, and loved ones whose lives he touched in meaningful ways.
Sayeed was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dezlin Williams; his sister, Audrianna

Though his time on earth was far too brief, Sayeed Nsiah Richards lived a life marked by love,
creativity, service, and inspiration. He will be remembered for his bright smile, gentle spirit,
encouraging words, and the joy he brought to family and friends. His legacy will continue to live
on through the lives he impacted, the dreams he encouraged, and the love he shared so freely.
