Mr. Romie Hall Obituary

Mr. Romie Lee Hall, born January 27, 1957, passed away on May 19, 2020 after a prolonged illness. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his parents, James and Sadie Hall, grandparents Romie and Lossie King, and a very special son, Brandon Johnson. As a young man Romie Lee worked at Jack in the Box as a cook, and later worked for the CSB Board as a driver. He enjoyed life and lived it to its fullest, with music, cooking, and making people laugh being amongst his greatest passions. Romie Lee is also fondly remembered for his love for western movies, The Andy Griffith Show and Matlock, which he enjoyed watching daily. After suffering with health issues, Romie Lee found a loving home with
his daughter Latoya Johnson where he spent the final time of his life. 

 

Romie Lee leaves behind two daughters, Latoya Johnson and Yvette Johnson, both of Newport News, Virginia, two brothers, Lewis Hall (Shelia) of Richmond, VA, and, Tracy Hall of Newport News, Virginia, four sisters, Jeanette Clark of Palm Coast, Florida, Carrlyn Foster of Newport News, Virginia, Lossie Hall of Hampton, Virginia and Angela Kessough of Newport News, Virginia, two very special friends, Helen Johnson of Newport News, Virginia and Leon Nelson of Hampton, Virginia, eight grandchildren, Brandon, Giovanni, Yoomee, Sarai, Kimi, Nyomee, Zhara and AnieciaUnique(Bella Rae), as well as a host of cousins, nieces, other relatives and friends. A BROTHER, FATHER, GRANDFATHER, UNCLE, FRIEND: Romie Lee Hall you will be sadly missed but always loved in our hearts ♥️

 

Viewing for Mr. Hall will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc.

 

A graveside service for Mr. Hall is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Hampton Memorial Gardens.

 

It is the desire of the Hall family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
