Mr. Richard "Pop" & Mrs. Viola Pitts

Richard “Pop” Pitts gained his heavenly reward on January 9, 2021 and the sparkle of his eye, Viola Williams Pitts joined him in paradise on March 9, 2021. 

A walk through viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2021 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Newport News, Virginia.  Social distancing will be observed and masks are required.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private joint Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Ivy Baptist Church.  The joint Celebration of Life service will be livestreamed via the Ivy Baptist Church website (www.ivybaptistchurch.org).
