Mr. Larry L. Smith

On February 21, 1972 Esther Goodman bless the world with the Larry Lamont Smith, also known to family and friends as Love..God called Larry home on June 30, 2025 at the age of 53.

Larry is also proceeded in death by his grandmother Ella Davis, great grandmother,Maggie Hudson.

Larry enjoyed being around family and friends. “ he never missed the party.” Larry attended Newport News Public School in his younger days. Larry worked for a packing company and a moving company for many years. Larry loved his hometown Newport News and enjoy being in the heart of the city. Whether riding through or hanging out with you could always catch him downtown with a smile on his face.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his three children Penny Williams,D’Angelo Boyd, Larry Smith jr. His five grandchildren Zy’Mire , Zy’Asia, My’Laysia , Kingston, Bryson . Larry also leave to cherish his memories one sister Pamela Wright (Marcus) two brothers Kenneth Smith (Keisha) Antonio Smith and One aunt Connie Smith. Along with a host of nieces nephews and cousins.

It is the desire of the  Smith, Williams And Boyd families that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

The family of Mr. Larry L. Smith  has entrusted his final care to C. C. Carter Funeral Home.
