Mr. Kevin A. Tunstall

In Loving Memory of Kevin Antoin Tunstall 
November 6, 1964 – August 31, 2025

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, Kevin Antoin Tunstall, who departed this life on August 31, 2025, at Inova Fairfax Hospital at the age of 60. 

A resident of Bristow, Virginia, Kevin was born and raised in Newport News, where he graduated from Warwick High School. He was a pillar of strength and compassion—our hero, our rock—whose life was defined by unwavering devotion to his family and a distinguished career in food service management. Kevin’s kindness, generosity, and golden heart left a lasting imprint on all who knew him. 

His passing was sudden and deeply felt, leaving an irreplaceable void in the lives of those he loved. 

Kevin is now reunited in eternal peace with his parents, John and Peggy Tunstall; his twin sister, Karen Flicking; his uncle and aunt, Clyde and Gwendolyn Moody; and his uncle’s Joseph, Beverly, and Orlanda Tunstall. 

He is survived by his devoted wife, Luz Marina; his cherished son, Antoin; and his mother-in-law, Nicolasa Rocca, all of Bristow, VA. He also leaves behind his siblings: Alvin Tunstall of Philadelphia, PA; Sharon Tunstall of Suffolk, VA; John (Mary) Tunstall of Smithfield, VA; Lisa (Clarence) Harris of Newport News, VA; and Delcenia (Allen) Wright of Newport News, VA. Kevin is lovingly remembered by his uncle and aunt, Alverse and Phyllis Stringfield of Hampton, VA; his uncle Spencer Tunstall Sr. of New Jersey; and his aunt Janette Williams of Baltimore, MD—as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws. 

Kevin’s spirit will live on in our hearts, and his legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire us
