Mr. Kaiyon T. Watson

On Thursday, December 18, 2025, God dispatched his loving angels to come and escort our loved one to his heavenly home.

Kaiyon was born on June 26, 2004, in Hampton, Virginia to LaWanda Watson and Jesse Riddick.   

Kaiyon was raised in Hampton, Virginia. He was educated in both Hampton and Norfolk public schools.

He worked for a short time at Amazon. The memory of his jolly laughter and huge smile will always warm our hearts. He was his mother's "funny, crazy baby."

            Kaiyon was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Sheila Riddick; maternal great-grandparents, Marion and Theodore Seay and great grandfather Harry Watson, Sr.

            Kaiyon will forever be missed by his parents, LaWanda Watson and Jesse Riddick; children, Kyree, Zamora, Zalani and Jream; siblings, Tyshawn, Kerra, Jakiyah, Isaiah, Nyshae and Jakobe; grandparents, Regine and Harry Watson Jr.; great-grandmother, Bertha Watson; nephews, Jaceoyn and Ky'aire; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

It is the desire of the Watson - Riddick families that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

The family of Mr. Kaiyon T. Watson has entrusted his final care to C. C. Carter Funeral Home.
