Mr. Jonathan Lee Moody transitioned on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at his home in Hampton, Virginia.

On Saturday, January 25, 2020 Jonathan Lee Moody transitioned on from his earthly home to his new destination that God has prepared. Jonathan Lee Moody was a loving, kind and compasionate person towards his family, friends and even strangers. Jon was the one that always thought about and centered himself around family. He always encouraged the family to hold family gatherings just to create another picture perfect moment to remember. To many, Jon was a good friend and co-worker, to some he was that special son and funny brother and to others he was that loving husband and caring father.

Jonathan Lee Moody was born on November 12, 1969 to Al and Janie Moody. He leaves behind to honor and cherish his memory, three loving children William, Jennifer and Joshua, four devoted brothers Kevin, Anthony, Frederick (Dorminique) and Nathaniel (Danyeall), three caring sisters Ruth (Carlton), Stephanie (Thomas) and Jessica, ten nieces and nephews and four great nieces.
Jon spent his life working hard, lending a shoulder to lean on and helping others when he could. He was truly special to all of us and he will truly be missed.

Viewing for Mr. Jonathan Lee Moody will be held from noon until 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2020 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc.

Services for Mr. Jonathan Lee Moody will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Febuary 01, 2020 at New Hope Baptist Church, 1415 Big Bethel Road Hampton, VA by Pastor Al Moody.

Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
