Mr. John Wesley Brewington Jr.

Mr. John W. Brewington Jr. was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, to the late John W. Brewington Sr. and Callie Brewington. He entered into eternal rest on May 17, 2025, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loved ones.

John was a man of quiet strength, unwavering dedication, and deep love for his family. His presence, wisdom, and steady spirit will be truly missed by all who knew him.

He devoted 44 years of loyal service to the Newport News Shipyard before retiring, where he was widely respected for his strong work ethic, reliability, and integrity.

John leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 58 years, Yvonne Brewington, and their children: Leslie Manners(Anthony Manners), Phyllis Brewington, and Maurice Brewington (Nancy Brewington). He was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather to a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him immeasurable joy and pride.

He is now reunited in heaven with his beloved children, John W. Brewington III and Michelle Edwards-Brewington, whose Memories live on in the hearts of their family.

John's legacy of love, strength, and devotion will forever remain with those who were blessed to know him.
