Mr. James Artis husband of Mrs. Ada Artis, and a member of Second Baptist Church East End. Newport News, Virginia, transitioned on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at his home in Newport News, Virginia.

Viewing for Mr. Artis will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2020 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc.

A Graveside Service for Mr. Artis is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Artis Family Cemetery in Union County, North Carolina.

It is the desire of the Artis family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
